Books featuring Fast Moving Zombies

November 25th 2008 in books

With a site called Fast Moving Zombies, I feel that we’ve been sorely lacking in coverage of the speedy little devils. Thankfully, Permuted Press has done us a great service and created a list of books featuring Fast Moving Zombies – some of which Permuted Press has published themselves.

I can’t say that I’ve read most (any?) of these, but they do have fairly good star-ratings on Amazon. I’ll leave it to you to decide. I’ve included part of the descriptions from Amazon for the first three just to give you a taste.

  1. Thunder and Ashes (The Morningstar Strain)
Product Description: The Morningstar Virus, an incredibly virulent disease, has swept the face of the planet, infecting billions. Its hosts rampage, attacking anything that remains uninfected.
  2. Blood Crazy
Product Description: “Saturday night in April, every adult human being on this planet” goes mad and begins murdering everyone under 19
  3. Plague of the Dead (The Morningstar Strain)
Product Description: The end begins with a viral outbreak unlike anything mankind has ever encountered before. The infected are subject to delirium, fever, a dramatic increase in violent behavior, and a one-hundred percent mortality rate.
    Death.
But it doesn’t end there. The victims return from death to walk the earth.
  4. Among Madmen
  5. The Undead: Flesh Feast (Zombie Anthology)
  6. The Brain Eaters
  7. The Undead: Skin and Bones (Zombie Anthology)
  8. Cell: A Novel
  9. The Undead: Zombie Anthology
  10. The Dark
