Simon Pegg discusses the Fast Moving Zombie
The brilliantly funny Simon Pegg writes and article for the Guardian, in which he discusses the inherent problems with a running zombie:
I know it is absurd to debate the rules of a reality that does not exist, but this genuinely irks me. You cannot kill a vampire with an MDF stake; werewolves can’t fly; zombies do not run. It’s a misconception, a bastardisation that diminishes a classic movie monster.
He goes on at some length on the merits of a slow moving zombie and the reasons why a zombie is not capable of achieving great speeds.
While I certainly enjoy the idea of a fast zombie, this article is terribly funny and the logic (nevermind that he’s discussing zombies) is sound and definitely worth a read.
