The War to End All Wars
Variety has reported that Quantum of Solace director, Marc Forster, has been tapped to direct the big-screen version of Max Brooks’ novel, World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War
The novel tells the story of the war between zombies and humans, from the perspective of those who lived through it. This could potentially be a challenging script to work from, as the main action of the story occurs “off-screen”, so to speak. The novel is, as the title says, an oral history, told 10 years after the conflict.
Well, in my opinion, any movie about zombies deserves the benefit of the doubt. I look forward to this hitting theaters.
