‘The Walking Dead’ on AMC

August 13th 2009 in books, news, tv

Though I’ve been a huge fan of Robert Kirkman’s “The Walking Dead” comic for some time, I don’t believe I’ve ever actually sung its praises in this blog! (though you can find all the Graphic Novels in the FMZ store).

And perhaps I will speak of this comic some more at a later date. But for now, I want to bring up some very exciting news:

The Walking Dead will soon be a television series on the AMC network! With Frank Darabont as the driving force behind the show – acting as writer, director and executive producer!

This is guaranteed to be appointment viewing, so keep your eyes peeled to the screen – this will be something that needs to be seen!

(sadly, no word on when the series will actually air yet, but we’ll post more as word gets out)
