Well, AMC has finally pulled the trigger last week and ordered a pilot.

And not, the website, Corona Coming Attractions, has read the script for the first episode and…

They like it. A lot. From what they say, this is the real deal. They’ve taken everything that’s great about Kirkman’s story and translated it to the screen.

Sadly, this rumor was debunked by the author a short time later, stating that the ultimate goal is to adapt the book into a movie!

(though you can find all the Graphic Novels in the FMZ store).

And perhaps I will speak of this comic some more at a later date. But for now, I want to bring up some very exciting news:

The Walking Dead will soon be a television series on the AMC network! With Frank Darabont as the driving force behind the show – acting as writer, director and executive producer!

This is guaranteed to be appointment viewing, so keep your eyes peeled to the screen – this will be something that needs to be seen!

(sadly, no word on when the series will actually air yet, but we’ll post more as word gets out)
