Just when you thought it was safe to go back on the ice, originally uploaded by eob.

On Dec. 14, nearly 200 zombies descended on Millennium Park in Chicago, to…

ice skate.

The zombie mob, organized by Chicago Zombie.com, were just out for a nice skate through the park and to try and set a zombie/skating record (sadly, they may not have made it) and to show everyone that it doesn’t have to be Halloween to have fun as one of the undead.

Swiss artist Frederik Peeters has a blog in which he features his drawings of famous deceased people – if they were zombies. What’s great (aside from his ability to create wonderful, instantly recognizable artwork) is his attention to detail – he bases the drawings on the manner in which the person died.
